@Ghostfit - I agree... SLT-A55 expected in mid-Sep, but no news of K-r release dates yet ... if the K-r has the auto-focus indicator in the viewfinder and priced near the K-x, then I think its a no-brainer...
@Rashkae - on dpreview.com, i evaluated the standard studio setup between slt-a55and k-x, and i thought k-x was as good as the slt-a55 and in some cases better (see http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonyslta55/page15.asp, and choose k-x as one of the cams to compare) - you feel any different?
Folks
Any views on the above? :dunno: All three are in my budget, so $$ not a problem

however, interestingly, no one commented on things like availability of lenses (vendor and 3rd patry), experience of shooting in various situations (street, landscape, macro, night etc.) - i know we can't comment on slt-a33 yet... maybe after comex
Any idea when the new models will hit the Sony stores for demo? For both quite available, but from what I've seen it's easier to find Sony-mount lenses then the Pentax ones.
As for street, landscape, macro, night - all this depends more on lenses. But for street and macro photography, the tilting LCD and fast AF liveview on the Sonys is something else.
what i know is that the slt-a33 is being launched in comex - which is next week anyway... just few more days
the slt-a55 doesn't have a date yet - supposedly "end-sep" .. however, the sony website has details only for the slt-a33 right now
and is the pentax k-r a real deal???? it just seems to be some rumour started by some spanish guy who claims to work for pentax
