Olympus Celebrates 70% Market Share in 'mirrorless' Camera Category in Australia

Based on the recently released GfK figures, Olympus is reported to have 70 percent market share in the 'mirrorless' camera category in Australia. To celebrate this, Olympus is offering two year Australian warranty to those who purchase the Olympus PEN E-p1, E-p2 and E-PL1. Marc Radatt, Managing Director, Olympus Imaging Australia commented:
"We're incredibly proud of our PEN line-up in Australia and feedback from customers and retailers is pointing positively towards ongoing uptake of the 'mirrorless' Micro Four Thirds System interchangeable lens digital camera. The widely acclaimed Olympus PEN E-P1, E-P2 and E-PL1 digital cameras are designed to equip even the most inexperienced photographers with the ability to take high quality images and this latest move to extend our one year international warranty to a two year Australian warranty is testament to our confidence in the performance of our PEN products."
