the playground nowadays is so so so small. for those who stayed in boon lay in the 70s and 80s will remember the huge playground that we used to play there. so many different games for all ages, nice place for chit chating in the evening too.

the were slides made from marble (if i am correct) thats on a cement hill thats 2 story tall near blk 188. another slides stood a 3-4 story tall (opp the boon lay fire station). the wooden maze with 2 slides, on on each ends, near blk 177.

trying to dig out some photos, hope to post them next week.

sorry to say this, but i seriously find the playground nowadays very boring, but safe.

so safe that you dont break bones or dislocate joints with the rubber mat. maybe thats why so boring.

just my opinion.

ok lahz... is still fun lahz..
but dun have that "adventure" feeling like the old playground where
we can jump from on side to the other and is linked from one end to the other.
Which feel like a castle or fort....
