Hi all,
Remember those photo shops (with studios containing elaborate backdrops, settings, & props for portraiture) under the flats, sprung up and popular in the 70s/80s, and does film process, printing, portraiture/passport photos for the regular family...Are they still existent? Let me know if there's one in your neighbourhood. I'm looking high and low...Thanks many!

There's one in Peninsula shopping centre, level 2 and they still shoot film and touch up the photos by hand - very quaint.

Still doing it the old fashion way. My utmost respect for them.

Somehow it gives a nostalgic feel...

I recently stumbled onto one in KL, and yeah, all the interesting props and stuff are still lying around! ;p

Sadly, hawaii's grade has fallen ... parents went there to shoot some photos for passport. .. they got a shock when the photos came out.
