how on earth would i know who that is?

i will not comment on yout composition, neither the exposure.

concept wise the picture fails at first glance. 'Odd one out' ... obviously you're trying to say the mimosa flower/plant is the odd thing in the picture. i just see a mix of vegetation with a blooming mimosa flower, nothing odd about it, it's so natural. the theme needs context, the other plant which you want to contrast the mimosa plant against is too few and little to be considered as making a crowd such that the mimosa is odd.

This is a treated picture of wild mimosa. Looks like a composition with copper. Commendable idea.

But the focus of the picture is the flower which is overexposed and at this size without details, and that kills the entire picture.

Perhaps you can isolate flower and background and do different treatment, not unlike selective colorisation techniques. Will certainly improve the picture.
