Just sharing!

I sent it to the Straits Times forum, hopefully they publish :p

On 25 January, my mother received an unsolicited call from the motor insurance arm of OCBC. The telemarketeer started off with sweet words and offered to renew our car insurance which was expiring soon. However, she soon inquired whether the car has been involved in an accident in the last three years. Upon confirmation, there was a distinct change of tone in her voice and she informed us coldly that it was the company's policy not to accept drivers with accidents in the last three years. Is OCBC only willing to insure the clean drivers? What message is OCBC sending out to other motor insurers? The call ended with the telemarketeer informing my mother that she would call us back again next year, provided our record improves. Really, "please don't".
