1. in what area is critique to be sought?
- digital manipulation techniques. specifically, what can i do to seamlessly integrate various elements into the final photo.
2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
- recreating old photos with famous modern personalities.

i hope to get some feedback as to how to recreate/digitally manipulate photographs to make it look old, disused, faded, dirty and gritty.i am aiming to put faces of famous ppl into old archival photos.

Nice work you've done there. IMHO, it would probably look more realistic if the linear scratch-like defacement were less prominent. Perhaps you could minimize the linear scratches and replace with more point grain or a more grungy textured overlay? Just my 2cents. Honestly, I think you've got a good idea going and i'm sure you'll make good use of it. All the best!
