I think it follows the ideas of that the telcos are starting to tell us: we gonna play punk for your money and there's nothing u can do about it.

I'm going back to 3G when they start charging for 4G.

With Free Wifi every where nowadays, 4G also become useless unless you inside the train. 3G/3.5G speed really lousy, can sleep on it. Nowadays every thing is about $, can't escape!

From paper saying that end if the year. Once one do it, the rest follows.

I mean I've been paying for 4G service... not this Starhub 'free' upgrade to 4G for 3G user thingy....

Another thing... since its a upgrade for 3G user (to 4G)... why so much issue when they end the 'free' upgrade ?? Like the speed of 4G... pay the $2.xx for it. Find it not necessary, go back to 3G (unless they 'Force' you to keep to 4G)...

IMHO, Nothing given as part of a 'Promotion' meant it will last forever...

It follows the employment of talents thinking (if you want the best talent you have to pay the best dollars to get him). :)
Ya la, all good things come with a price ma.
As mentioned by our dear PM.

Simple.
Apply the rule.
No surfing allowed on mobile phone. You can live with a simple mobile phone. Millions do so.

Actually these 4 months when I had a change of portfolio, I have really entertained thoughts of getting a dumb phone as whatsapp is starting to become a medium for work by people with no respect for after work hours.

Ironically , if Starhub starts charging for 4G , and if I am dumb enough to pay for this 'upgrade' can they ensure 100% coverage ? And if I end up back on 3G network will I get compensated ?

Thank god I'm still on my 12gb 3G plan. Speed is still alright with me. Now I'm never gonna recontract. New handset is gonna be expensive but that beats paying for 4G and 2gb worth of data that runs out in the first week aye?

I was under the impression that 4G is part of whatever Starhub plan I signed up for. Can they now just charge us for something that was already part of a bundle?
