What i understand is Adobe is no longer maintaining the activation servers for CS2, so for people owning CS2 products cannot activate if they do a re-install. So Adobe is providing versions of software where no activation is required. Which in practice apparently anyone can use.
Remember, you are only entitled to download and install if you have a valid copy of CS2! Nobody should endorse piracy!
