just when u thought north korea is actually complying...

http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/asiapcf/07/04/korea.missile/index.html

unfortunately i think they could cost more damage to themselves

The Taepodong-2 missile, which some analysts believed capable of hitting the western United States, failed after about 40 seconds, U.S. officials said.

Maybe it failed 40 secs after launch coz one of Reagan's Era Star Wars satellite fired a laser/particle beam/EMF pulse and caused it to explode?? Seems like a viable way of solving this problem. North Korea thinks its a faulty missle and the rest of the nations can rant about how North Korea has defied everyone and impose more sanctions....;)

So, maybe more North Korean peasants die coz of lesser food aid... and just maybe Big Brother can ask for "protection money" from the rest of the free world if they want their nations protected by this kind of advanced weaponry. :bsmilie:

Then maybe Batman will uncover this conspiracy but Superman will still stand for "Truth, justice, and the American way!". They will then duel in Gotham City and that will be called "Batman Vs Superman: The 40 second crisis"

Sounds like a script for another hollywood movie! hahahaa!:)

its a good thing the missile is faulty. If the short range missile has reached Japan waters, imagine if the long range missile has worked. It would have landed very far... and this could mean war.

Mr. Ill is desperate for some attention from the west. U.S. agreed to listen to Iran and they don't even have a warhead. I wouldn't want to live any where near the path of the missiles to the west. Don't want to be in the crossfire.

What would u do if u are North Korea Mr Kim?
a. stop the test, lose face
b. continue the test and risk war

What would u do if u are USA Mr Bush?
a. shoot down the missile but not sure star wars satellite work or not, also lose face
b. continue talk and threat

So now is probably the best outcome, North Korea tested it but failed, everybody save face and keep their job, and no war. Meanwhile, continue the talking, and we still not sure star wars satellite work or not:think:

Anyway the US is not gonna attack N.Korea, since unlike Iraq they have no oil, nothing of value for them.

stoopid bully trying to get attention. :thumbsd:
That's the state of world affairs. Everyone tries to out-muscle the other. In front of each other smile, behind hold 1 knife.

Maybe its time for u to wake up from optimism and see the real world.

Welcome to the Matrix...

I assume you are refering to Mr. Bush? ;p

nah.. bush already has everyone's attention. That's why that mad hat kim decided to throw a tantrum. He's not used to being out of the limelight for so long. ;)

Errr, Singapore is strategically located in one of the busiest waterway(Malacca Straits). She was once known as 'Fortress Singapore'. Thus,

They want ur 'rock' lor :bsmilie:
Luckily not balls :sticktong :bsmilie:

Nowaday, everything that poke out of the sea has a value attached to it.....so, a country can laid claims to everything that falls under its territorial water. Fisheries, natural resources like gas/oil.

One man's junk is another man's treasure......
