hi guys,

may i know what is a good and easy photo editing software to use?

Hi thelight!

Welcome to Clubsnap :)

There are a few programs that come with your Canon camera, like EOS utilities and Digital Photo Professional which will help you with some simple editing.

If you want free ones, you can try GIMP, paint.net. Just have to do a search on google. Hope this helps.

Enjoy your stay!

Cheers

thanx buddy...
gotta start wearing my reading glasses now to read em..
only starting this hobby when i'm old,
hope its not too late.

hahaha it's never too late to start a new hobby!
If you have saved up a tidy sum all throughout your career, then it might be good, coz you won't feel so restricted in terms of budget. Photography can be a very expensive hobby.
Free photo editing software? Do you like simple or complex/advanced?
I think (I stress 'think') GIMP is the most complex/advanced free editing software out there.

thanx for the warm welcome guys.
i think i will work with what i have now..
savings cannot anyhow splash la..
singapore an expensive place to stay..
am thinking of only 2nd hand stuff, after all, i am newbie (from an oldbie :bsmilie: )
if i wanna take macro and portrait like those guys from the picture gallery,
what setup should i get?
i take walks at the park nearby and those guys pics featured are exactly what i wanted..
thanx in advance..

Outings are good way to learn, but not the only way. Note that sometimes a fellow CSer might teach you the wrong thing at an outing...! :D
