Noobie : Photo appears dark

It was a sunny day. I wanted to took picture of the clouds( so i zoom it) and it appears dark. Any wrong with the setting?

clouds are white. So to the camera's AI, it thinks it is overexposing something...so it makes the exposure darker..

Just adjust with your EV compensation to the positive direction until you get the picture with the exposure you like.

AWB is not exposure.

From what I see. It looks like it needs a recomposition and +EV for the building. Its kinda of hard to say if its ok as you have cut off your building and leaving the roof top only.

Building wasn't blending with the sky so its not overexposed. Rather because of the white cloud, it makes the building a little underexposed.

You need to learn about exposure compensation. This is how you will know how to shoot black objects or white objects, as the camera always uses 18% grey as a reference.
