As titled, do research around google but cant find any news update after the 16 of july delay. Should i wait?

You should ask yourself these questions,

1) Do you need a compact camera that urgently?
2) Other than the LX8, is there any other cameras that you have your eyes on?

1. I need it before my princess is welcomed to the world. Probably 2more months.

2.any advice will be good! Compact, evf, great zooms! Tilt lcd can do selfie! Budget below $1k !
