Hi i just got my Nikon D50 today.
I'm wondering how can i actually change the timer of the shutter speed?
What do i have to press?
How can i know that it's f8 or what?

Thanks alot.

To be able to change the shutter speed, first, you have to be in the M or S mode. Then to adjust the speed, juz turn the command dial left or right to attain the desired speed.

Depress the shutter button slightly to view the aperture on the top lcd or in the VF.

read the manual ??...its f8 when the lcd screen show f8...need to turn the top right dial to change shutter speed (in shutter priority or manual mode)

Kelly, seriously... Finish the manual before you start using. Then you can get more out of the camera. Over Zealous only will slow your progress, keke. D50 is an excellent camera! I still missed it!

thanks guys. cause my user manual is in chinese and i just d/led the english version. sorry for the trouble guys. ((=
