Nice pics Shodan ,I like the mesh fence entitled freedom the best , Im quite good at this one myself even thought it was by accident , nice sharp foreground and good use of depth of field , the contrast is good is this genuine black and white or a trick of the light ? nice effect anyways

The last picture was taken using normal afternoon light. Post processing done was just auto contrast and b+w in photoshop.

More critique would be welcome

Nice effort there. ^^
Maybe you can try shooting a theme, because the pictures sort of lack a distinctive focus. As in no clear subject to draw attention on.

Prismatic: I just got my camera over a week ago and was still trying out and exprimenting to find my own composition style, that perhaps could contribute to the lack of focus/theme...

Besides, I think I still have a lot to learn about lighting conditions and shooting technique. Anyway, your points are noted and are very helpful
