Nokia phone help..transfer SMS from one phone to another

Hi all..I want to transfer some sms from "My Folders" in my 6020 to my old 6100...is there any way that it can be done (other than using another number to send the sms)?

i tried the PC Suite thingy but it screwed up all my sms-es layouts, etc...

nt sure about nokia....but last time I transfer all my SMS in my SE phone to my SIM card den slot the SIM card into the new phone....

i can't transfer back msg from phone to SIM inbox after i transferred them out...

Once you transfer out from SIM inbox, you cannot transferred back.
You can always forward the sms back to yourself again. :bsmilie:

Send the sms to your number. Immediately after it had been sent, switch phone off.

Put SIM into new phone and switch on. Sms will arrive on new phone.

the last time i tried transfering was to backup using PC suite den restore on the new phone.

Can also try to locate the SMS folder can copy the contents to the new phone. I had not used Nokie for a few years so I'm a bit outdated and cant remember so much liao.
