Noise!!

Juz collected my latest rolls of developed film and scanned into a cd.
I realised to my horror..alot of my night shots had alot of noise.
I was using a Fujifilm 400 x-tra. Is it the film??..I cant use a slower
iso level coz i my objects are not stationary.
Could someone give me some advice or tips???..

its probably the scanning because fuji superia 400 is extremely fine grained already. so what you are seeing would not be the grain from the film. it could be that the jpeg compression was set at a low setting after scanning. go inquire at your scanning shop.

Anyway if a tinge of grey cast appears over e pics. Its prob. over or underexposed???..

Grey cast indicates underexposure and it is probably more than 1 stop underexposed.
