Actually I was thinking of using noise reduction programs. Lazy lah...
I had 3 in mind.

Noise Ninja.
Helicon Noise Filter.
Neat Image.

Any one has done any test on the three programs? ;p

Which program do you all recommend?

so how to do using PS?

Open your original image
Open your image with lens cap on and do a copy
Paste on new layer over the original image and set to difference/subtract


Forgot to add on.. if you do this technique over a picture with white background.. the noise subtracted pixels tend to leave a darker spot over it but it is good for those long exposure shots of the night sky.

Definitely noise ninja. You can download both and try it out. You have got about 2 weeks to try out, more than enough time for a couple of images.
