Nikon mount Flash to Olympus System - any trigger can be used?

Hi,

I just changed my system from nikon to olympus but I have a nice Yongnua flash for nikon, I wish it can be use on my Olympus OMD EM5 too using a wireless trigger. But i tried to search but cant seem to find any trigger. Can anyone advise on this?

You can try using 3rd party trigger, e.g. like Pixel Opas.

Check the cheap triggers who only use the center pin. I suspect this pin is always in the same position. Of course you can only use the flash in full manual mode, since Olympus systems works differently from Nikon. For anything else you must get the Olympus version of your flash. But if you have the money to change camera system then the expenses for a new YN flash should not matter much.
