Nikon flashes compatibility

Greetings all dai gors!! I am interested in getting a Nikon speedlight, but I am using a Canon G2. I intend to trigger the Nikon flash using PC sync. would like to know if there will be any trouble if I were to do it.

I heard that trigger voltage is very important for cameras and flashes. Is it true taht the camera will 'explode' if the flash is not compatible?? :dunno: Thanks alot in advance!! Have a nice day.

IIRC can trigger via Manual mode.

manual exp, manual mode on flash. everything manual.

if everything starts exploding, SGH will see me and alot other csers....

just set to manual.
