Chasseur 'd Images has new information on the upcoming Nikon F75 and F75D to be announced at PMA.

The cameras basic specifications would appear to be: (my French linguistic ability is nil)

Modes: P,S,A,M plus selectable Vari-mode for sport, portraiture etc)
A/F module: CAM-900
Af operating range: -1 to +19 EV @ 100 ISO
AF assist range to 3m inbuilt for night work
25 segment 3D Matrix Metering
3 step auto bracketing
DX film range 25-5000
1/2000th to 30 second shutter speeds
1/90th flash synch.
Inbuilt flash (GN 12m @100 ISO, 28mm lens coverage)
Red eye reduction, slow, rear, normal flash synch.
1.5 fps film advance speed
89% Viewfinder coverage.
Batteries 2 x CR2 3V Lithiums
Weight: 385 grams. (D version, no batteries)

F75D??? What's the difference from F75? Digital? I guess not...:)

"D" = Date
Able to imprint the date onto the print/negative.

This shows that there's still a demand for film cameras! I think this Nikon F75 will not be as well-receive in Singapore as compared to Europe or US. Afterall, to what I do, film is still the mainstay to most people in Europe and US.
