im getting my DLSR camera which is D90 between these few days
soo..
May i ask u guys for ur opinion for

unless you mean dri cabi, if not, get from the other shops without those freebies and spend 200 on a dry cabi.

Or you can get the body, the saving on kit & freebies can invest on lens (18-200 or 17-50 F2.8 etc)

there are no such thing as free if you need to pay more to get those items hehehe...

they'll just trying to trick you, in fact you will pay for every "free" stuff they give you, worse you'll pay even more that you should be.

Depends on what tripod they give you. If it is a good one, then go for it. BUT i dun think they will give you a good one as a gift comes with.

so it is not worth 300+.

the kit lens is a good range to start try the kit lens and learn from there first. after some time of usage u will know what else u need or what else u dun.

I would get option 2:
1) D90 kit @ 1669
2) 36L Dry Cabinet @ 120
which leaves you 199 from your 1988 budget
I would personally go for an external flash with this money, but then flash photography is not to everyone's liking. So either a fast lens (Nikkor AF-D 50mm f/1.8 seems like a good choice) or an external flash is the way to go....

oh, you could get a Benro (or similar) tripod + ballhead (WAYYYYY better than those freebie plastic tripods) for much less than 199.

FYI, asked on the spot, the price given for the camera was $1848

and as for the dry box(air tight kind), it can be exchanged with a cranky external flash(sunblitz A628)
