I understand.

I hear they learned from the Df so the Df2 might launch closer to 2 grand VS 3. At any rate I strongly feel that it will be the last hurrah for the F mount.

The D850 is bringing back the mp war apparently. Some say Nikon bought Samsung camera division to get their hands on a FX sensor the Koreans had developed. So just when you thought 36 mp was enough try 50 plus. Better upgrade your puter too. Gonna need 5 terabytes storage and 16 gigs ram for those monster files. Might have to sell a lung in addition to the kidney.

So D850 first, maybe next week, to sort out the players. Then next year, anniversary year, bring out something different...digital fusion version 2.0.

To finish I will mention that if I buy another camera this year it will be another Df. It is that good.

It is quite disappointing that Nikon don't have D820 or D850 or lens to be announced in CP+2017 CAMERA & PHOTO IMAGING SHOW 2017.
