Stayed tuned...a couple of hours more.

Well-described jeff7id :D

As a D4 user, don't really feel excited, maybe need to wait for D5S or D6?

More interested in the free Capture NX-D.

The ClubSNAP team just attended the D4s launch event and had a hands on. We will be posting picture samples as well as high ISO comparisons between D4 and D4s shot side by side TONIGHT.

Quick summary, AF tracking on the D4s is very much improved. AWB is improved. And high ISO is also improved. Just a teaser: high ISO noise performance of the D4s is at least 3/4 of a stop better than the D4 at very high ISO. And at some specific high ISOs, the D4s may even be 1 stop better than the D4. Df is no longer the king of ISO.

Stay tuned for the full report.

Very amazing High Iso Performance!

Very amazing High Iso Performance!

Stay tuned for ISO 25600! Your eyes will pop out! Preview thread will be up in a couple of hours!

BTW, the 16.2MP sensor is totally redesigned. At the launch, Nikon explained to us how it was done, resulting in a lot more light being collected. Match that sensor with Expeed 4... you get WOW!

Looking forward to the post bro daredevil!!!

From the specs and having tested the D4, it is really amazing how they can improve on that!

Nikon D4s use totally redesigned sensor ? Sony have become so generous to their competitor haha?

But D4s use a new Image Processor for sure, the brand new EXPEED 4 !
