I'm going to purchase my Nikon D3100 from another seller in clubsnap.

He will provide me with the following:

D3100 with 18-55 kit lens
Macro lens(screw on)
Some filters
Tripod
Bag
Additional lens cover
Wireless remote shutter release

I think it's quite a good deal already at $750.

However. He don't provide any memory card. So I'll have to buy it myself.

Any recommendation for memory cards or tips to share for a newbie like me?

If you shoot alot, it'll be good to get a 8gb & above card. Since D3100 is an entry model camera, you don't have to spend too much on a high speed card as you will not need fast buffering speed. Instead of spending a lot on 1 very very good professional card, save the money for 2(or more) separate cards. I like to have more cards coz I don't like to "put all my eggs in one basket". There was once, on a overseas trip my card malfunctioned and I lost all the photos :(

hmm any class 4 8gb memory card will do =x if not class 6 kingston 8gb
