Nikon D3100 REVIEW & High ISO 12800 test

Not sure if this was posted before, but there's this site that posted a ISO 100-12800 comparison between Sony A55/Nikon D3100/Canon 60D

http://www.focus-numerique.com/test-1129/reflex-nikon-d3100-bruit-electronique-12.html

Finally another High ISO 12800 test has posted.
At ISO 12800, the picture looks terrible for all brands.

But refer at ISO 6400, Nikon D3100 looks performing better compared with Sony A55 and Canon 60D.

This is good ! :)

Well there has to be limits to the lower end model what. If the lower end models have CLS, good controls, 51 AF points, weather sealing etc etc, then why buy the more expensive models?

Of course la... I can only hope ma, that they have those that matter in the cheapest body. :)

Yea... at least ISO1600 seems to look better than D3000.

The rumors say that Nikon D7000 use the same sensor with Sony A55.

But the comparison shown that even Sony A55 and Canon 60D can't catch up with Nikon D3100 ISO quality.

So how's the D7000 performance ? :think::devil:

Thanks for the links, i have both Nikon D3100 and Sony Alpha A550, and yes i beleive they have the same sensor!

aaaahhh *Zombie Post*!
