I own some good photography magazine and reference books on Nikon Equipement and Lenses. These books are written by professional photographers from China, Taiwan and Japan. They showcase their pictures taken with Nikon lenses and also using other brands Nikon mount lenses as well. And they also review the good and bad points of each and every individual lenses. As such, I would like to share it out to fellow Nikonians in this sub-forum.
After a discussion with few of my fellow nikonians friends from my regular Nikon User Gathering, NUG yesterday. We have come up with the following concept on how to share these reference books with everyone in this forum. The concept as follows:
i. I'll showcase the book cover page on this thread. And me being the owner of the book, the list will starts with me. 1 post will be used for 1 book and the list of borrowers.
ii. Anybody interested in this book will have to copy the post of that particular book and add himself/herself to the list in a new reply post
iii. Next PM the last person holding on to the book with your contact.
iv. The person who holding on to the book shall check the list to make sure that the new borrower did add himself/herself to the list and arrange a meetup with the new borrower to pass him/her the book.
v. So the book will always be with the last person in the list should the owner, myself, needs it back.
I do hope this sharing scheme works for everyone. I shall leave this 1st post for any FAQs. Please keep all banal talks away from this thread so as not to mess up the arrangement. Any enquiries, please PM me or you can SMS me @96456423.
FAQ
Q1. What if the book is lost along the way?
Ans: If the scheme is excuted accordingly, the book is always with the last person in the list. The last person on the list is responsible for the lost and he/she will have to buy back the book for the sake of the community.
Q2. What if the book is damage along the way?
Ans: For me, I have already read thru these book. The forthmost reason that I want to share it off means I do not mind any cosmetic damage to the book as this is expected with the passing and handling by many hands. However I trust fellow Nikonians who borrows to look after the book as well as possible for the sake of all others.
Q3. Can I share my reference books/magazine as well?
Ans: Yes all are welcome to join in this sharing scheme. I do not own the rights to share in this Nikon forum. However do keep in mind of the above 2 faqs as such things might still happens. So if you want to share, share it willingly.
