Hi All,

Which would you suggest for nikon D300?

In terms of performance. using for weddings, events etc (Low Light settings)

Many thanks.

Have you read the reviews?

AFS according to review is slower in AF, but some reviewer mentioned that AFD is a yesterday thing. Hmmm maybe it depends on wat u r looking for also taking into the price difference between this 2.

I'd just go for the AFD, since the D300 can AF on it.

I don't have the AFS version but I have the d300 and the AFD...

Speed, sharpness is good enough for me! I wouldn't even think of getting the AFS version..:)

i will suggest for AFD, since u r using D300.

does it easy to use prime on weddings or events?

reading the comparison, the difference is not that obvious for me to change from the AF-D to AF-s :)

If you don't know, the best way is to try them both. Borrow/rent. That's what I always say.
