nikkor 35mm... AF-S F1.8G or AFD F2

hi everyone, first off... just wanna let you know that this is a continuation of my "is it worth shifting to sony A550 from nikon D5000". if you happen to have read the said thread, i wanna let you know that i stayed in nikon camp, now, i am looking to get my 35mm prime lens. am using a D5000, so obviously, the F2 AFD wont AF on my cam, but it does'nt really matter to me. what am after is how the lens perform and of course... the value for money! for those using any of these lens, please feel free to post some pics you took with the said lens here... it'd help a lot! thank you very much!

For DX, get the f1.8 since it has better IQ.
For FX, get the f2 because there is no other option unless you want the faster f1.4 AIS version.
