hi.. quite new to the world of photography.. please give your honest feedback..

thanks

was travelling in london when i had to wait some time for the traffic light, so i took a 30s shot of the traffic..

thats quite cool.
tripod or rested on the railings?

i am in london but i rarely do these kinds of shots ....

maybe i should... :)

i am always a bit paranoid in london, uk generally, unfortunately...

thanks..
i think it was some railing along the road, can't remember..

haha london is so different from *singapore*.. felt like walking through a monopoly boardgame when i was there. ;p

i do understand what u mean. i am in uk now too. in york to be specific. = ) going over to london on the 28th...

wow..! haha i didnt manage to get night shots when i was in uk over in summer this year.

was wanting to do night shots but the sun set so late haha

check my flickr out..

you are so lucky.. for me the sun set at 4pm. The low lighting conditions didn't allow me to capture good shots.. And I didn't have a tripod with me.

 Time to get a tripod...

ps, i really like ur fireworks shots on ur flickr

My 2 cents:

1) Not sure if it is my PC or wat but the pic looks bit soft.
2) The railing at the bottom of the pic is distracting
3) If your intent is to capture the light trails from the bus, trails made by the car seems to grab more of my attention
4) My! There is another photographer opposite you taking your pic! ;p

lol iw that u mentioned it i see the other photohrapher opposite.

hey do post shots of london in the day..!

hmm which underground station is this?

ps, i really like ur fireworks shots on ur flickr
haha thx!

i'm pretty sure thats regents street, possibly from piccadailly circus...at half a guess anyway
shame london hasnt really got a equinox for a nice view of the city...
the london eye 'hamster wheel' isnt really something i can pop up in, have a drink/meal and take photos...

halo all,

going to london tomorrow but the fog's kind of worrying me now. wonder how my photos will turn out. i'm using a p&s, any tips for shooting photos in foggy environments? thanks!

get a tripod?
small aperture, slow shutter...
check your results and compensate however you need to get the result youre after.

bear in mind the season/time of year though - its madness out on the streets

try to capture santa!

btw what time does the sun set now?
