great effort!

try to shoot at around dusk, or just when the sun sets, when there's still a little bit of colour left in the sky.

your 2nd pic looks fine to me. the clouds in the sky add a bit texture to an otherwise dark sky. crop off about 2/3 or 3/4 of the water cause there's not much happening there. it'll give a more "panoramic" look to the shot.

incredible pictures eric! wad were ur settings for the shots like? care to share?

Sweet stuff!

Agree with patch17's advice. Crop the water in the 2nd pic away... At least a bit...

Regards,
Nick

thanks for the advice...

i assume u were using a tripod... if so, theres no need to use iso800. keep it at 100 or 200 and your pics wont be so noisy.

so if i use tripod, can lower down to ISO 200 ???
oh..... thanks for advice....

one more night shot (last one... hee hee :) ) :

night4.jpg

oh... should be that way.....
but the exif, i simply cut and paste..... it was extracted from the pic using the picture project that came along with the camera...
