Hey guys... Im going to the NDP this year.... What advice do u guys have to take great shot at night..... I pretty much suck at night photography... HELP!!!

it all depends where you are seated and what you want to shoot.

If you are going for landscape of the event during dusk or fireworks, like these shots:

These are essential
-- sufficient camera batteries
-- sufficient memory card storage space
-- suitable compact tripod & ball head as viewing gallery is narrow
-- spirit level gauge to check on horizontal tilts
-- wired remote shutter trigger

Starting point of exposure setting is as low ISO setting as possible and smallest suitable aperture setting of your lens. Adjust shutter speed to get desired exposure.
