I believe a SLR is preferred and no other special requirement. If you want, try calling PSS and look for Diana or Kellyn at 63343361 or send them an email.

Hi,
Just wanted to ask, how do you categorize between members and non-mambers?

As the courses are conducted by PSS (The Photographic Society of Singapore), members (promo @ S$80/2 years) get preferential rates.

You can check the website for more info on PSS. PSS website

Hi
Members will be the people who have signed up for membership from PSS.
Currently, we have a 2 years promotion for $80.
One year membership fee will be $100.
Non-members would be paying more for courses.

Hi sawnwink
Yes. You are required to bring your own camera.
You can use any camera with capability of manual over-riding /controlling will be best choice, especially with cable release and "B" mode facilities will be good too. No limitation on lenses, whether wide or tele-lens all are useable.

Just in case you do not understand what is "B" mode, it is "bulb" mode where there are no fixed time .... particularly useful on night scene without flashes or Astrophotography where exposure can be up to 8 hours.

In short, you are required to have at least a SLR camera ;p

True .... but which is cheaper? A Film SLR with lenses or a High End digicam Like Nikon 8700 that provide "Bulb" Mode?

Thus minimum requirement .... SLR :D ..... ;)
