Presented by the Singapore Art Museum as part of Night Festival 2011

Be dazzled by this nine-evening outdoor showcase of spectacular light installations from France. Encounter these intriguing works as you enter the Bras Basah cultural precinct at:

- Singapore Art Museum
- School of the Arts (SOTA)
- Singapore Management University (SMU) and
- National Museum of Singapore (NMS).

Revel into the night with an array of weekend activities including a flea market, film screenings, a chic thumping Parisian club party, a fun new media installation and, of course, exhibitions at the museums.

HUGE night architectural shooting opportunities

Any tips for ppl who r goin? besides bringing a tripod etc?

@acman: There is performances this Fri & Sat. Someone highlighted there's oversight in marketing material, in the "Night Fest 2011" facebook. (u may refer to: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Night-Festival-Singapore-2011/121863034524683)

snapper123: You can join the Moderators' event (http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/threads/961794-An-Evening-with-ClubSNAP-Moderators-Night-Lights-Photography/page3)
They have a talk at the Art Museum's Glass Hall, touching on night photography.
after which they will be shooting the night fest. do sign up with them quick due to limited spots.
I highly recommend it! ***But if u sign up & then don't turn up, u will be black-listed! So be warned!
If u are not able to get a spot for the Mod's event, u are welcome to just my group that is shooting night fest that night. (refer to: http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/threads/960805-03Sept-Night-Fest)

the weather forecast for Sat is possible thunderstorm (i check 3 different weather sites)
hence i suggest rain gear (i prefer poncho).
as for Flash, that is a bit tricky because sudden flash might affect the performers
