i ever tried taking a vid once ... think about 4 mins plus into it ... a red blub/thermometer thing appear on the screen ... guess it's telling me to stop eh -___-"

i think can only keep the shutter open for a maximum of about 5 mins. read it somewhere. it's to prevent the sensor from overheating or something.

Wow does this means that i cannot take Video for too long using my K-x. I think it would be better just to buy another video camera, cos i don't wanna spoil my little Red K-x.:lovegrin:

as far as i know, it' due to the sensor over heating..

if u're located in cooler area, then the sensor wont overheat and u can keep on shooting till the end of ur card..

if not.. it depends on the temp and if hotter means overheat faster means shorter recording time
