nice skin colour. how to ?

What's the trick to take this kind of photos:

For the first one, the colour (especially the skin) is so nice. is it the professional film ? or filter ?

For the second one, is it the lightings (studio type, very expensive),
the thick make up, bright lens, or the film ?

Your expert advice is appreciated.

Frankly, the first image is more of photoshop touch-up, which i think looks quite fake. Note how the effect has affect the hair and other areas. Not a good image to discuss about skin-tone in my opinion. :sweat:

I'm suspecting that the photos (at least the first one) are taken with a digital camera...
May be wrong, but the "feeling" and colours made me rethink whether the photos are taken with film.

If so, it depends very much on the camera's white balance and post-processing skills to get "nice" skin tones.

If it's film, me bad; maybe you can ask the original photographer instead?

it's just like that.

with film you can achieve what photoshop can do too in the printing stages... but it's too much time and usually not worth the effort.

i think the first image is an touched up image. look at her face. it looks blured.
