i want to buy a 52mm polarizer for my Canon G3. which brand is better? and i also need an adapter. any one can give me some recommendation and price info? thanks in advance.

Try Hoya, best bang for buck. There are 2 grades, HMC and SHMC. The latter is more expensive. I dun find much difference, but others here do. B+W is the most ex I think. There are other cheaper brands but perhaps Hoya would be a good compromise on quality and cost?

That depends on whether u can see the difference or not. Subjectively, I feel that is a difference but really it's so small I dun feel justified to pay so much more for B+W. And even then for Hoya, between SHMC and HMC, the difference is also very minimal IMO. U need to take a look and decide for yourself.
