Newbie Wanted Some Suggestions in Choosing Superzoom Camera

Hi,
I am quiet new in photography and currently looking for a SuperZoom Camera. My budget is max. S$600. Currently consider Lumix FZ40.
Is there any better suggestion from senior member here?

Personally I've not used it before but the Fujifilm Finepix HS10/HS11 seems to receive pretty good reviews from some of the members here.

But I think depreciation price for HS10 is quite fast...so you might get a good 2nd hand deal of $500 and below for a relatively new set with remaining warranty.
