Newbie to photography, and loving it!

Always wanted to step into photography, but being fickle, I've deliberated for about a year. During this period of time, I've done alot of research, read lots of reviews etc. and I'm glad that I have. Now I'm a proud owner of a spanking new navy blue Pentax K-x.

Tested shooting in my room (with lighting... like a horror movie set).

(Yes, dead flowers. Can't think of other subjects for the moment.)

I'm quite impressed! Totally in love right now, I'm going to hug it to sleep. :lovegrin:

I can really relate to the deliberating part... it's like choosing your spouse! And then you have to consider the family you are marrying into (the Lens, the Flashes, the Community etc).

Although I choose to marry into the Sony family, the Pentax K-x is a wonderful choice! Have fun with your camera. I have learned a lot from the seniors here and I hope you do too.
