Does tilting the camera add to the image?

When i was taking this picture, i was thinking of giving it a twist.. i.e not a straight picture.. i kind of like the feeling it portrays... hard to explain...

well, its individual liking. but i feel giddy when i look at it for 10 secs. to me, certain photos cannot be tilted, esp photos with landscapes included.
