hi all,

well this is about the dslr AF TTL points.. as we see AF is auto focus, what if i'm more into manual focus is the AF point in used or the AF points are on my hand in control? (manual focus)

Thanks all for the help!

Regards,

I'm not really sure what are you asking, mind rephrasing your qns?

When you switch from AF to MF, AF is disabled. There will be no AF points selected when u half-shutter (at least for my Canon). You are to manual focus with your focus ring.

If you are in manual focus, the AF points are not in use. In AF mode, the AF points can be manualy selected though.

oh okay that what i need to know... means even if i have 11points but i'm on manual focus.. none of it is in use as because it is only featured in Auto Focus Mode right?

okay, well i'm on manual focus mode... does the AF points can come in effect or only on AF mode?

They are only effective in AF mode.

But the metering will still work for the point selected.
