Newbie need help

what kinda accessories ie cleaning kit i as a newbie to dslr need? how often do we need to clean the lens? & any other advise for a new owner who knows little about photography, last camera was the sony n1 point & shoot type...

You'd need a blower to blow away the pesky dust that somehow appears on your lens. If there are smudges, then I think a microfibre cloth(with cleaning solution) is needed.

I think you only need to clean the lens if its dirty la! haha

get the blue blower with the metal tip. heard it is very powerful.

Alternatively, try the Giotto's Rocket Blower which comes with plastic tip
