Can your camera take pictures? If so, you won't ever be outdated if taking pictures is what you want.

Hi,
I am a newbie too. Completed my basic photography in July and still struggling to take photos like those I see taken by those by Clubsnappers. I have a 40D / 15-35mm IS.
I was at the mid-autumn festival on Sat but most photos a flop even taken on tripod. Take a look at the rooster photo. Unable to get good angle as the place was too crowded.
