hi all,

I had fun evaluating and shortlisting my lens.
Research and hands on was very enriching for a newbie on the learning curve.

When you finally get your lens, and start snapping away.
The experience is pure satisfaction :)

Hope my experience will help other newbies jump into DSLR faster

Have fun. And congrats on your purchase.

You might want to add more into your blog about experiences in using a fast prime. Since DoF is so thin, focus, recompose technique might cause some problems. So care must be taken when shooting at very wide apertures. And always focus at the eye of the subject closest to your camera.

wow, nice research. interesting. :)

thanks all for your comments.
Still tons of things to explore.

Daredevil : will definitely have a part (iii) haha..
- just discover how useful is d5000 11point focus, focusing is 99% spot on
