Quite clever. Current Bayer sensor: if I am a photosite for red, will only process red and filter out the others. Panasonic's idea: if I am a photosite for red, I will only take red but I will send green at my site to my neighbour responsible for green, and blue to another neighbour responsible for blue. In the end, more light is collected.
