Just a question on EF75-300 F4-5.6 III USM, i find it hard to zoom ( i need to exert more effort to turn the zoom ring) as compared to EFS 18-55IS lens. Is it normal or i need to go to the service center? :think:
is it new lens or did you get 2nd hand? and how much more effort did you need to turn the zoom ring?
IMO...as long as your image turn out fine and nothing is visibly broken...you shudnt wrry so much

Its a new lens ...nothing wrong with picture but the effort I'm concern about,
especially if i have to capture a once in a lifetime moment, I might miss the shot...
I thought the effort would be as easy as zooming the EFS 18-55IS...
Anyways, I'm still learning this new hobby of mine..
no problem...i'm guessing its harder to zoom because its new...the zoom ring is more stiff when its out of the box...but as you use it, i believe it will be easier...the reason i think its much harder to zoom is because theres a lot of glass in the 75-300 and when you're zooming in and out...you're oso moving the glasses inside...you wudnt want to be too rough to the glasses inside wud you? haha
