I guess the photograph can be taken with any camera and not necessarily Canon since one of the regulations states that raw files of any format can be submitted.

The competition has 2 themes 'The Watch' and Conceptualising Time'. The first theme is great for product photographers and the second is up to your interpretation of Time!

where can we take the photographs ?

5. All submissions must be in JPEG format and of at least 6 megapixels in resolution. Raw files of any format will not be accepted. Please submit your entries in a CD to either location listed below by 1730h on 31st July 2007:

Can anyone advice where can take the pics of the products? @ the shop itself... or where??? Thanks ;)

For the theme 'The Watch', you will have to loan the watch (of the participating brands) from friends.

Hi all, will like to know if there is more interest in 'The Watch' or 'Conceptualising Time'

wow that's abit hard to do huh? especially if u wan a new watch for prduct shoot..
........ especially if their watches are full of scratches :(

What if The Hour Glass provides a selection of watches for keen participants to work with, at a designated venue, on selected days and each participant has 2 hours - will this help? Any better suggestions?

"In the event of two winning works from the same participant, the order of the higher prize shall be awarded."

SO if one participant win 1st 2nd and 3rd prize, organizer get to save on the 2nd and 3rd prize?

Anyone know if we can photoshop our photographs for submission? :dunno:
