Because they are GP equivalent of Sanyo's Eneloop which can retain the charge very much better than normal GP or Sanyo NiMH batteries. ;)
OIC... :)

But I find the normal rechargeable ones good enough. I use the 2000 and 2100 ones for my XBox controllers, and they last pretty long.

to me is charge and forget... so need those that can retain for very long.
Me using Recyko.... so far so good.... i think these pdts need long time to test out...not so easy

Got the Recykos yesterday evening. Bought 2 sets of 2xAAs total $15.90. Even cheaper than Challenger ($19.90 or $17.90 for members).

Going to put into my Fuji S6500FD to test them out straight from the pack.

Seems like not all Cold Storage branches have the special offer though. Think I'll buy one more set the next time I'm there before the offer is off for good.
