Generally, I find photo quality quite subjective. Try to determine what is good photo quality to you. Is it sharpness, colour, contrast, dynamic range, or maybe all of the above? Try thinking about what you wish to have in the camera first before just picking one that everyone recommends.

If you don't understand what I'm talking about with respect to any of the above terms, ignore that for the moment and consider the other factors.

but i recommend checking out the new digic 3 models from canon. good stuff! :bsmilie:
