need to know whether is there any tax if we bought camera or lens on oversea website when it delivered to us.thank lot.

Think it's more that SDG400 including all shipping and admin charges etc. Below that, no need to pay, but some do slip by.

if say no box, just lens and camera? custom dont tax that right?

with box means new set, likely kana tax if they r hard working and spotted it.

the sender still need to key in a value when its mailed.

usually what a lot of people do is go on Hong Kong holiday and then buy and bring back without the boxes.

More then $400 gst tax will be charge. If go through major shipping company, they will endorsed and collect the tax as per invoiced.

Nope. Still got tax. They got X-ray mah.

As mentioned, by mail, they have to declare the value, and that's usually tied into insurance purposes. No use trying to siam tax when the goods are worth thousands of dollars.

Even if not insured, and no box, just put plastic bag, they will check.

Those marked as 'Gifts' and '2nd hand goods' with or without box will still kenar.

Customs got smart along the way. :)

However, things do slip by.
